I am getting stuff done… or am I?
Hello people,
Apologies, haven’t been in contact and the blog hasn’t been updated because I’ve been really really busy and I promise I will make it up to you. The Blog has slightly changed since your last visit but I can tell you this is not the final look. However I am in the process of renovating the Blog and you will see some major changes happening in a week or two.
Warning: This post may also sound like a plotless drabble because I am just writing it to quickly get this out to you so bear with me on this one. Like I said, I will make it upto you
So what is this post about? Well I have been meaning to write about this for a while now and I think this post will really relate to you if: you are an online marketer like myself, you are an entrepreneur or you are just a regular person who simply can’t get your stuff done
So lets start with what I have been really busy with. Well I committed the ultimate crime of entrepreneurship and started multiple projects all at once. I finished my report ‘The Ultimate Success Mindset for Online Entrepreneurs’ earlier this month [you can get it by subscribing to this Blog on the right]. I have been setting up the Success Library at a new domain and setting up an affiliate program for it.
I absolutely love this product and wanted to give it maximum exposure by getting affiliates, choosing the affiliate program was a nightmare, mainly because I am new to paydotcom and before this, I have only been working with clickbank and direct paypal. [by the way, drop me a message if you wanna promote it
]
I also am launching a minisite design service later this month at Get Your Minisite [not ready yet] and besides that I am also participating in a giveaway event as a contributor [link at the bottom if you wanna join] as well. Giveaway events are fantastic for list building, but not all of them are worth our time. I joined this one because it appealed to me and because it is powered by Roger Hyatt.
Quite a lot of stuff isn’t it. Will it surprise you if I tell you that my productivity has actually been reduced to less than half to what it was last month. Why you ask? well… when you do multiple things at a time, you simply reach what I call ‘A point of Overwhelm’ where you think you are doing a lot of work, but in reality you are simply staring at your computer screen, switching between windows, reading through forums, checking emails and having this mental image that you are super busy and ‘progressing’.
However, I have finally discovered a technique to get a whole lot done and make the most out of my time spend in front of the computer screen meaning ‘actual progress and productivity’ rather than just spending time on my computer and I will touch on that in detail in my next post [if you guys are interested] but here is something that relates to all of us in our daily life.
[Yay!! I've learned how to embed youtube videos in my blog]
I am sure you can relate to that, so can I. But guess what, it doesn’t have to be this, in fact IT SHOULDN’T BE THIS WAY. If we want to take control of our lives and make the most of it, we simply can’t afford to let life pass us by like this. We have to be ALIVE to live life, we really need to LIVE life.
My next post will be a detail of what ‘technique’ am I using to overcome procrastination and basically making the most of my time and also let me know via your comments your tips to be productive.
The giveaway’s link that I promised in the post is Huge Giveaway its absolutely Free to join and there is a $9.97 upsell if you wish to take it. I think its a good opportunity to join as a contributor and increase your subscriber base. If you wanna know more about giveaways shoot me a message via the contact page and I’ll get back to you.
I hope you found this post useful and please comment below to let me know of your feedback, also some tips for productivity will be useful for my next post.
Don’t forget to share the love by clicking the fancy looking buttons at the top of this post for tweeting and other social bookmarking stuff.
To your success, happiness and prosperity,
Maddi

Great Blog post. I am going to bookmark and read more often. I love the Blog template ? if you need any assistance customizing it let me know!
Nice site. There?s some good information on here. I?ll be checking back regularly.
It sort of looks like spam to me but I’ll leave it here.
Ben if this is not spam, please enlighten me
Maddi
Hi Maddi
I think we’re all guilty of taking on too many projects at a time. I’ll get Randy to have a word with you on that one as he’s always telling us on his forum to only concentrate on one project at a time cause you’ll make more money that way and of course he’s right.
Looking forward to hearing your next post on procrastination
Regards
Dawn Kay
Hello Dawn,
Yes I think I really need a dose of focus. Although the technique that I am using has helped me a lot with concentration and productivity. It hasn’t completely eliminated the problem because I was indulged in too many projects already, but it definitely has enabled me to focus more on one thing at a time and make the most of my time online increasing productivity.
But I have learned my lesson
ONE THING AT A TIME from now.
Thank you for the comment dawn and the next post is probably coming later today.
Regards,
Maddi
I just love the Youtube video you featured. It is sooooooooooooo true!!!
LOL @ the multiple projects you have on the go. I can sooooooooooo relate to that too, but I am making progress on each one by writing it all up on a whiteboard so I can keep the big picture in front of me.
Yea the video is awesome isn’t it. With multiple projects going on, I think all of us Entrepreneurs are victims of this at one point or another, we just can’t help it
I’ve got a small white board on the wall right next to me where my workstation is and it is within an arms length so I quickly write and erase whenever without getting up from my chair, which really helps.
I am planning of getting a dry erase paint I’ve seen somewhere which basically converts your walls paint to a white board surface and I think it would be awesome if I did that.
I’ll probably end up with my entire room’s walls as a white board lol.
Thanks for coming Michael.

Maddi
Hi Maddi,
My daughter has chalk board walls!
I am so looking for your next ‘overcome procrastination’ post! I love reading your blog. I feel like I already know you!
Hey I kinda do know you! I got the “special” presentation of the videos! By the way I am down another 11 pounds if anyone cares. Official member of the “no clothes left” club! YAY!
If you have any Fatty Mc fat-fat friends (or enemies) send them to my blog post!!
The diet really works!
Talk to you soon Maddi! I want to send your new book out to my list, but I don’t know how. Do you? Can you send me instructions??
Lisa =)
p.s. John talks abut giveaways and freebie seekers in the Marcus call. You should listen!
Hey Lisa,
Always a pleasure seeing you here. Congratulations on loosing another 11 pounds, by the look of things your husband may not be very happy when you max out his cards buying an completely new range of clothes… and isn’t that a fantastic feeling?
I had to let go of my complete range of awesome size ’small’ T shirts cos I simply didn’t fit in them last year [ I haven't yet got the courage to simply throw most of them away and have been keeping them without wearing them for a year now] Although that is minus 2 bags full of clothes I gave to charity when I put on weight [muscle] last year.
I have an obsession with my clothes so to speak [haven't really acknowledged it to myself though]
I’ll be sending everyone I know interested in loosing weight your way, in fact you could maybe share this diet in detail with perspective to online entrepreneurs who sit on their bums all day long in front of their computer and have a guest post here on my blog? wat say?
I think it will be great for my readers, as this blog is all about Online Entrepreneurs but ‘keeping it real and really talking about problems that we all face’ rather than buy this new fancy shiny product through my affy link
As for my book for your readers, I am most humbled and will really appreciate it. I know how to do it, lets hook up on chat or on the forum to sort things out.
Marcus has been very inspiring as I’ve followed his journey quite closely through his blog, and the call was quite informative too.
Thanks Lisa,
Here is to your next 11 pounds taken care of
Maddi.
Maddi,
I would be HONORED to guest post about this amazing weight loss! I haven’t had a minute to get on the forum since I am in Johns class right now, but I will be online tomorrow morning early, (about 6 am) my time which I think is about 8 hours from you.
I dont know…what time is it there? It’s 3 o’clock here right now this very minute.
(DUH! I am not that silly, just wanted to make you look!!)
Anyway, I will get on the forum tomorrow morning and on the Skype, do you have Skype? Then we can figure out how to do that!!
Regarding clothes and credit cards…..hmmmmm, Nope! not gonna buy an yet, still losing a few more pounds!! The hubster isn’t gonna recognize me when he gets home next week!!
YAY! for Skinnie Minnies!
Take care and God bless!!
Lisa~
p.s. when are you gonna write that p-r-o-c-r-a-s-t-i-n-a-t-i-o-n post??
Are you p-r-o-c-r-a-s-t-i-n-a-t-i-n-g??
TTYL
I was checking this comment on my phone last night and was laughing in my bed. I am not p-r-o-c-r-a-s-t-i-n-a-t-i-n-g Lisa
The thing is I wanted to research a little more on this technique and wanted to be sure that if anyone is doing it already and has it got a proper name or something so that I can credit that and provide more info, or may be I am the originator hehe, so wanted to get more info before I post about it.
About your diet, I think there is very active sub-niche of work at home moms and it will be a great resource for them to keep in shape and specially coming from a mompreneur who has tried and tested it and actually got results, it will be a great read for them too.
I have emailed you my skype and I look forward to talking to you there.
Thanks
Maddi.
